What happened to your cupcakes?
With all the multiple cupcake businesses popping up, we decided to take them off the menu. They were never a popular menu item and keeping ingredients that wouldn't be used up was a waste of money and space. We don't know if we are ever bringing them back.
Where are you located?
Stephi's Cupcakery is a home-based business, permit #PT0491726, located in San Jose, CA. Actual pick up location will be given after the transaction is complete. For safety reasons, I will not be giving you my home address prior to your completed order.
What are your hours?
We are closed for pick-ups on Monday-Friday. Pick-ups are only on Saturday and Sunday at designated times before 4pm. Follow our Instagram account or check the Events page for updates.
What are your payment methods?
Cash and all major credit cards accepted at our events. Venmo through online orders.
When can I place an order and when should I pay for it?
Please place orders on the MONDAY BEFORE the weekend of pick-up. The latest I will accept an order is on Wednesday IF I am not already backed up. Orders can be placed either on Instagram DM @StephisCupcakery or through text (408)604-5244. I do not, under any circumstances, accept early or late orders. Orders must be paid in full within 24 hours of it being placed through Venmo and to deter last minute cancellations or no-shows. By completing your payment, you agree to the TERMS & CONDITIONS listed below. If for any reason you need to cancel, please contact me 48 hours beforehand. Anytime after, I have already started the prep process for cookies and you will only be refunded for 50% of your purchase. I get that things can come up, but understand, I do have a life outside of this business and to make your order as fresh as possible, it takes away from my time and money for the ingredients to make it.
Do you deliver?
No. If requested, you will be charged $1 for every mile travelled TO and FROM location, no matter where you are located. Times will not be guaranteed if problems arise going to delivery location.
Do you make cakes?
Due to the restrictions with our permit, we do not accept orders for cakes.
Can I request a custom order?
Unfortunately, at this time, it is not possible per restrictions and regulations of the Department of Environmental Health.
Can I order a certain amount of each cookie to make the minimum order allowed?
This would be a total waste of product. The only way this is possible is if we're at an event.
What is your allergy information?
Stephi's Cupcakery is NOT a nut-free, gluten-free or vegan bakery; all of our baked goods are prepared on premise. Although we do wash every item before each product is made, we cannot guarantee cross contamination as everything is made using the same machines.
Do you have nutritional information available?
Not at this time and probably won't in the future. We feel that our products are an indulgence. As with all indulgent foods, moderation is key.
Are you certified kosher?
How should I store my baked goods? What is the shelf life?
In a cool, dry place. Cookies should be eaten within 2-3 days of pick-up. They can be frozen in airtight containers, but freshness and quality is not guaranteed. Cupcakes must be consumed within 1-2 days of purchase if left at room temperature (anything BELOW 70F). They can be refrigerated up to 1 week, although, we cannot guarantee the same quality freshness as when you first received them.
Do you individually package the cookies or cupcakes?
We do not. Each order will be placed in a bakery box.
What is the minimum order for each baked good?
Please read the product page in its entirety for minimum orders.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment: Payment is due within 24 hours of placing your order. We reserve the right to cancel the order if payment is late. You will be reminded a few hours before your time is up and then your order will be cancelled.
Changes: We’ll do our best to accommodate any changes that are made 7 days before the order pick-up date. Please note - extra charges may apply to last-minute changes.
Cancellations: Cancelled orders will be refunded 50% of your total if cancelled within 24 hours of pick-up date, not pick-up time.
Pick-up: Once an order is no longer in our care, we take no responsibility for any damage that is caused. You must pick up from our place of business. We don't offer delivery or a public, designated pick-up location. If requested, you will be charged $1 for each mile we have to travel TO AND FROM set location.
Media: We reserve the right to use all photographs of our products for advertising purposes.
